After months of delays and uncertainties due to the ongoing pandemic, the long-awaited gathering for the 2021 Unity Ball was finally able to push through. This year’s annual celebration was a special way to bring the GMBA family back together after being away for so long as professors, alumni, students, and friends graced the auspicious event held at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel on November 13, 2021. More than 200 participants, all dressed up in their glamourous roaring 20’s outfits, gathered together in celebration of another amazing year for the GMBA community.

This year’s student council prepared a jam packed program for all the participants to enjoy. The festivities kicked off with a free-flowing cocktail reception followed by a masterful saxophone performance by Danny Chen from batch R09. Student Council President Liv Chen then made her opening remarks to thank everyone for their overwhelming support throughout the year. GMBA Director Audrey Hsu also addressed the guests and provided some words of encouragement as to what the GMBA community can expect for the program moving forward.

We also took the time give due recognition to the previous batch of Student Council officers and the graduating batch of 2021 for their enormous contributions and achievements these past years. This was followed by the 2021 GMBA Awards show where several individuals received various awards after being nominated by other GMBA-ers.
