On Saturday, August 1st, the local alumni communities of National Taiwan University’s Global MBA and New York University came together for a high-energy summer mixer at New CB Party Bowling Alley (星聚點) in Taipei’s Datong District. With roughly 40 alumni turning out, the group effectively booked out the entire venue for three hours of friendly competition, casual networking, and vibrant exchanges.

The afternoon was filled with striking highlights, lively conversations, and plenty of lighthearted rivalry on the lanes. Beyond the casual games, the event served as a wonderful bridge for two dynamic global business communities to connect, share industry insights, and build new personal and professional relationships right here in Taipei.

A big thank you goes to Andy Wu for bringing these two active networks together and organizing such a seamless event. We were also honored to have key leaders from both alumni groups in attendance, including Director Bryan Jean from NTU GMBA, Tony Huang (President of the NTU GMBA Alumni Association), alongside Claire Kuo and Wennie Wu representing the NYU alumni network.

The success of this joint event highlights the strength of Taipei’s alumni ecosystem. Based on the overwhelming turnout and great energy from everyone involved, we are already looking forward to future collaborations, joint panels, and social gatherings between NTU GMBA and NYU.
