News! GMBA Golf Tournament #1

Yesterday, Sunday May 9th, 2021, marked our first GMBA Golf Tournament hosted at Kuo Hua Golf & Country Club. Splendid sunshine and gentle breeze at the break of day, 23 players gathered to compete for top prizes, including lowest scores, nearest to pin, longest drive, and most improved player awards. Regardless novice golfers or seasoned amateur golfers, everyone enjoyed the game.
With this success and strong student turnout, we believe the GMBA Golf Tournament will become a tradition to be hosted every semester. Golf not only encourages GMBA students to connect with each other, as well as with alumni, but also serves as an introduction to the fun game of golf that may be beneficial in the GMBA students’ future career, in addition, as a progress checkpoint for novice golfers who have experience in the monthly GMBA golf practices. Golf is a life-long sport, friendly to all ages and gender. We thank the GMBA Office and the Golf Digest for its continuous support of the tournament and events.
